AutoMate FX, Inc.

The AutoMate Prep Device is a front end system that prepares several types of samples automatically for a variety of types of analysis:
• Carbon isotopes of carbonates
• Carbon isotopes of DIC
• Total calcium carbonate
• Total DIC
• Total CO₂ in incubations

The AutoMate Prep Device acidifies solid carbonates and DIC in water, creating CO2.  It works with a number of front end instruments including:

• Picarro, Inc. CO₂ isotope analyzers
• UIC, Inc. CO₂ coulometers
• Li-Cor, Inc. LI-820 CO₂ analyzers

The AutoMate Prep Device is in use in major universities, research institutions, and industy labs in more than 12 countries.
