AutoMate Prep Device Features
The AutoMate Prep Device acidifies samples to convert carbonates or DIC in water to CO2 gas. Evolved CO2 gas is transferred from the AutoMate Prep Device to either a Picarro CO2 isotopes analyzer for carbon isotopic determination or to a UIC CO2 coulometer for total carbon measurement.
The AutoMate Prep Device uses Exetainer (Labco, Ltd.) glass vials with screw caps with septa as sample analysis chamber. Solid samples can be weighed directly into the vials reducing potential sample cross contamination and errors. Once weighed out and capped, samples can easily be stored prior to future analysis.
The AutoMate requires few consumables: CO2 free carrier gas, septa top vials, acid, and de-ionized water.
AutoMate FX, Inc. can provide a laptop preinstalled with our custom LabVIEW software so that you can be up and running in a matter of minutes.
Systems include unlimited tech support by email, phone, or Skype.
Systems are easily user installable but installation can be provided.
